| Telephone Interview | The audio in this sample had a lot of hum on the telephone. I just clean it up and do a bit of editing. The raw tracks are delivered to me and sent back via an ftp connection that I set up just for this client. | ||||||||
| Conference Call | This one was full of crackles and hum. The client is the same one as the telephone interview call sample. | ||||||||
| E-mercial | In this sample, the male voice over was recorded in Minnesota at the same time as the female voice over was recorded here. They were connected via a normal speaker phone from the control room. | ||||||||
| For Song Writers | |||||||||
| Outlaw Brand | This is a full song writer production. The writer is over 80 years old and is quite a prolific song writer. He also has a full time day job, his own working band, writes books, and is a regular at Desert City Sound Recording. | ||||||||
| I'm A Bad Drug | The writer of this song was on a tight budget so to get a full sound without breaking the bank we used a midi keyboard and mixed in a real harmonica and dobro. | ||||||||
| I Will Trust In You | This is another full songwriter production. The writer lives in Tennessee and communication was done via email and ftp. This isn't the finished version. Just a rough mix. | ||||||||
| Bar Fight | Another rough mix of a full songwriter production. This writer lives in California. | ||||||||
| One More Ride | The writer of this song had previously had it recorded elsewhere but wasn't satisfied. He brought it to me and simply said he wanted it to sound modern. | ||||||||
| For Vocalists | |||||||||
| Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You | My longest running repeat client. He has recorded hundreds of songs here. This was a vocal demo. The artist just needed music to sing along with so again, the midi keyboard was used exclusively for this production. | ||||||||
| For Bands | |||||||||
| If You're Gonna Play In Texas | A demo for a local country band. I did have to replace the drum kit with a better sounding one. I converted it using the recording from the original kit. | ||||||||
